Talk to Us

We like hearing from readers, whether you are planning a first trip, have just moved into a flat on the south bank or have lived here all your life and think we missed something. The simplest way to reach us is by email at office@yourrotterdam.com.

What is most helpful

  • Corrections. If a guide has outdated information — a closed venue, a changed route, a new ticket system — send us the page address and what has changed.
  • Ideas. Tell us about a neighbourhood, building or day trip you think deserves a guide of its own.
  • Questions about an article. If something we wrote was unclear, we are happy to explain or improve it.

What we cannot do

We are a small, independent guide, so we cannot book tickets, tours or rooms, answer questions about a reservation or speak on behalf of any business mentioned on the site. For those, please contact the venue or operator directly. We also cannot give personal legal, tax or immigration advice; for registration and permits, the municipality's own information is the reliable source.

When to expect a reply

The inbox is shared and read by a person every few days. Corrections usually reach the site faster than anything else. If your message is about an urgent change to a guide, mention that in the subject line.

Your information

We use the details in your email only to reply to you and keep the correspondence as long as the conversation is useful. Please do not include passport numbers, bank details or other sensitive information. Our privacy policy explains the rest.

This opens your email app with the message ready to send to office@yourrotterdam.com. Nothing is stored on this site.

Before you write

Questions we get most often

Can you book tours, tickets or hotels for me?

No. We are an independent guide, not a travel agency, so please book directly with the venue or operator.

How do I report outdated information?

Send the page address and what has changed. We check every report and update the guide when we can confirm it.

Do your articles mention businesses?

Some do, especially pieces about shops, events and services. A mention is not a guarantee, so compare options and read their terms before you commit.

Worth mentioning

Details that help us reply quickly

Including these usually means one email is enough.

  • The link to the page you mean
  • What has changed, and roughly when you noticed
  • Whether it is a correction or an idea for a new guide
  • Nothing sensitive: no passport, booking or bank details
